$175 Millon More for Roads

The Michigan House and Senate unanimously approved an emergency increase of $175 million to aide in road repair. Some of the funding increases will help the local communities improve road conditions at least temporarily. While not all local governments are receiving money it is a step in the right direction but more needs to be done. If signed by Governor Snyder Center Line gets $49,110, Fraser $83,346, Sterling Heights $810,884 and Warren will get $924,337. Macomb County will also receive $4.4 million to aide in road repair.
