Kristina is married to her husband Anthony with 2 kids, Logan and Daisy and a stepdaughter, Elizabeth. When she is not spending time with her family, she volunteers for two non-profit organizations that aim to improve, educate and empower children.

Kristina is a Girl Scout Troop Leader and member of Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan. She became a Troop Leader because she understand the importance and impact strong female role models have on young women. Girl Scouts build our future leaders.
Kristina is also, the Public Relations Officer for the H. Harwood Parent Teacher Organization at Elizabeth’s school. Kristina feels that communication and transparency are key aspects of any governing body. Keeping parents informed and engaged improves children’s academic success and empowers people to hold decision makers accountable for their action or inaction.
Kristina comes from a union family. Her father was apart of the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters Union, her grandparents were apart of the United Auto Workers Union along with her aunt and uncle, and her husband, Anthony, is a member of the National Treasury Employees Union. She believes that unions are key to providing a reasonable living by getting workers fair wages and benefits. Over the last eight years lawmakers have worked to erode the power of unions. Republicans in Lansing care more about business profits than the average workers quality of life and this needs to be reversed.
Kristina is a Michigan Army National Guard Veteran. Where she served as an MP (Military Police). She did one tour in the Afghanistan War as apart of Operation Enduring Freedom. She joined the military to defend our rights and our freedom. She believes Civil Rights are for everybody, not just a specific group that certain individuals think deserve them.
